The suspect stepped out of the seedy bar and looked to his left.
He immediately spotted the blue and white pick up and took off at a dead run.
Reaching for the door handle, the detective turned to wag an admonishing finger at his partner.
"Stay with the truck. And call for backup."
He hopped out of the truck, slammed the door, and leaned back in through the open window.
A huge silly grin spread across his face.
"God, Jim…do you have any idea how long I’ve waited to say that?"
